DFI said in a press release on April 8 that the company launched its latest EV charger solution at Embedded World 2024. The solution is powered by Intel technology and leverages the 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13900TE processor and Intel Arc GPU to enhance edge AI capabilities for the EV market.
The platform utilizes wireless upgrades for maintenance and uses DFI 's M.2 A Key OOB module, providing a reliable method for post-deployment maintenance. Electric Vehicle Charger Runs Mistral 7B large language models and leverages Intel Arc GPU's XMX AI engine for fast AI reasoning, consolidating multiple workloads such as electric vehicle charging controllers, digital signage, payment transactions, and interactive services through virtual machines on 13th Gen Intel Core processors.
“DFI has launched a powerful workload consolidation platform using virtual machine (VM) virtualization technology, which can run multiple operating systems simultaneously on a single Intel CPU and support applications such as electric vehicle charging,” said Alexander Su, president of DFI . “We are proud to provide solutions that enhance user experience and promote sustainable development in the era of smart IoT.”
