Suzhou, Wuhan, China - December 4, 2023 - Today, BlackBerry announced that Black Sesame Intelligence and BlackBerry provide support for Yikatong Technology's first intelligent driving computing platform. The platform is developed based on BlackBerry QNX® Neutrino® real-time operating system (RTOS) and Black Sesame Intelligence's Huashan II A1000 car-grade high-performance autonomous driving chip. It has been deployed on Geely's new generation of high-end SUV flagship model Lynk & Co 08.
Yikatong Technology has always focused on the research and development of leading automotive intelligent computing platforms. Its latest mass-produced advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) controller Ekatong Skydome® Pro intelligent driving computing platform uses Black Sesame Intelligence's A1000 chip and BlackBerry QNX operating system to build a system for the new high-end SUV flagship model Lynk & Co 08. A safe, reliable and high-performance technical base. It is worth noting that this not only marks the first mass production of Yikatong Technology in the field of intelligent driving platforms, but also the first mass production project of Black Sesame Intelligent Huashan No. 2 A1000 chip in the field of high-end intelligent driving.
The successful mass production and deployment of Yikatong Technology's first intelligent driving system is a substantial industry recognition of the cooperation between Black Sesame Intelligence and BlackBerry. In early 2022, the two companies announced their joint commitment to building a safe and reliable autonomous driving platform.
In this project, Black Sesame Intelligence provided its leading Huashan A1000 autonomous driving computing chip , which is known for its automotive-grade high performance. To this end, BlackBerry provides a real-time operating system (RTOS) with ISO 26262 ASIL D security certification. This powerful alliance ensures the high computing power, stability, reliability and safety of the Yikatong SkyQion® Pro intelligent driving computing platform.
