Mobileye, a subsidiary of Intel, and Wuhan Zhonghaiting Data Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zhonghaiting") jointly announced that the two parties have reached a strategic cooperation. According to the cooperation, Mobileye will deploy Road Network Information Management™ (REM™) technology in China through Zhonghaiting, a map service authorization subsidiary of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "SAIC"). This cooperation will be able to support the implementation of L2+ and higher level autonomous driving vehicles.

Zhonghaiting is a holding subsidiary of SAIC Motor Corporation, and is committed to becoming China's top and world-leading high-precision map data service provider. Zhonghaiting is based on the integrated innovation of autonomous driving, smart travel and geographic information big data. By gathering core AI technologies and talents, it creates a high-precision map-based travel big data ecosystem, providing high-precision maps, high-precision positioning data products, engineering services and solutions for individuals, automakers, industrial customers and government departments.So far, Zhonghaiting has completed the high-precision mapping of China's highways according to customer needs, and has demonstrated its application on smart heavy-duty trucks at Shanghai Yangshan Port.
