After using the latest hardware technology in Model 3, Tesla has upgraded its previous two models, Model S and Model X: the motor driving the wheels has been replaced with a permanent magnet synchronous motor to improve efficiency, and the battery life and 0-100 acceleration performance have also been improved. The longest battery life can reach 600 kilometers under the US EPA standard .
The specific models of the new Model S and Model X vehicles are no longer marked with the original battery capacity. Instead, they are marked with the same standard range version, long range version, high performance version and high performance version with added Ludicrous Mode as the Model 3 .
With the standard 100kWh battery pack, adaptive suspension and magnetic synchronous motor, the long-range version has a range of 660 kilometers and 575 kilometers in the national standard test. The domestic sales price has also been released, ranging from 722,800 yuan to 890,100 yuan . Please refer to the figure below for specific specifications.

As promised when the Model 3 was changed, the new models will be equipped with the AutoPilot assisted driving function, which was previously optional . The fully autonomous driving system that Musk promised to launch in 2020 has become a new option: the ordering price is 46,300 yuan, and the later upgrade price is 65,000 yuan.
At the Tesla Autopilot Open Day a few days ago, Tesla demonstrated an autopilot function that is completely independent of the driver's operation and can be carried out with just a given target location . The demonstration vehicle automatically traveled through traffic in the city, following the road markings and driving steadily, which was very futuristic.
Tesla's fully autonomous driving technology relies on its self-developed Full Self-Driving Computer (FSD). This chip, built with Samsung's 14nm process, delivers performance several times that of previous generation systems.
FSD will serve as the core system of HW3.0 hardware, providing Tesla vehicles with improved hardware computing performance. The new Model S and Model X will also be equipped with HW3.0 hardware system as standard . When Musk and Tesla both say "OK", Tesla owners are expected to become the first consumers in the world to use fully autonomous vehicles.
The new Model S and Model X will also use the V3.0 supercharging support that has been put into use on the Model 3 , and the tea break time waiting for charging will be further shortened.
