The first trial operation of the whole-region power regulation of the surplus demand-side adjustable resource mutual aid transaction between provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta

From July 31 to August 1, the East China region continued to experience high temperatures, and the second round of power regulation trial operation was carried out through mutual aid transactions of surplus demand-side adjustable resources among provinces and cities in the Yangtze River Delta.

This mutual aid transaction covers three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta, with a total of 34 demand-side operators participating, with the largest transaction power of 300,000 kilowatts. Taking advantage of the temporal and spatial differences in the peak loads between provinces and cities, the market-based mechanism supports 100,000 kilowatts each for Shanghai, Jiangsu and Zhejiang. At 11:00 on August 1, Shanghai's electricity load hit a new historical high. During this period, Shanghai recently purchased 100,000 kilowatts of peak mutual aid power from virtual power plants in Zhejiang and Anhui, effectively helping Shanghai's power supply guarantee work.
