On the morning of July 29, 2024, An Wenzhe, Deputy Secretary of the Linhe District Committee and District Mayor of Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and his delegation visited Shanghai Electric Energy Storage Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Shanghai Electric Energy Storage"). Yang Linlin, General Manager and Chief Engineer of Shanghai Electric Energy Storage, accompanied the investigation and held talks. Based on the strategic layout of supplementing and strengthening the supply chain and strengthening the demonstration and leadership of new energy storage, the two parties jointly signed the "High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Zero-Carbon Industrial Park Project Investment Cooperation Agreement".
Yang Linlin welcomed An Wenzhe and his party, and pointed out that Shanghai Electric Energy Storage is a scientific and innovative energy storage platform company controlled by Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., and is a pioneer and leader in liquid flow battery technology in China. The cooperation between the two parties is highly complementary and highly compatible. The signing of the "High-end Intelligent Manufacturing Zero Carbon Industrial Park Project Investment Cooperation Agreement" will help the company seize and develop the new energy equipment industry market in Inner Mongolia and even Northwest China, and deepen the height, depth and breadth of the company's industrial layout.
An Wenzhe said that Bayannur City is rich in wind and solar resources, with good stability and high development value. As the seat of the municipal government, Linhe District will actively implement the "Six Projects" of Inner Mongolia, firmly grasp the policy orientation of developing new energy, encourage and support the construction of system-friendly new energy power stations for grid-connected new energy projects, and further promote the healthy development of new energy projects; at the same time, through the construction of a new energy equipment intelligent manufacturing industrial park, deepen the development of equipment manufacturing industry clusters, support the establishment of enterprises to become bigger, stronger and better, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results between government and enterprises.
In the future, both parties will actively promote follow-up planning according to the investment cooperation agreement.
