Construction significance
After the completion and production of the Meimiao Flow Battery Electrolyte Production Base Project, the annual industrial output value is expected to reach 2.6 billion yuan, and the annual tax revenue is about 140 million yuan, which will provide guarantee for the delivery of existing energy storage power station orders of Meimiao Energy Storage. As an emerging industry, it will drive the development of related industries and provide strong technical and industrial support and guarantee for the development of all-vanadium liquid flow batteries nationwide. The third quarter of 2024 is a period of intensive equipment commissioning, and it is expected to be ready for mass production in the fourth quarter and officially put into operation.
Base Overview
The Meimiao Energy Storage Flow Battery Electrolyte Production Base is located in the New Materials Industrial Zone, Nandu Town, Liyang, Changzhou City. It covers a total area of 100 acres and a construction area of nearly 30,000 square meters. It mainly constructs an annual production line of 100,000 cubic meters of all-vanadium liquid flow battery electrolyte.
Facilities
This production base uses high-purity vanadium as raw material. According to the self-developed technology of Meimao Energy Storage, it adopts a short-process electrolyte preparation process and is equipped with activation reactors, cooling equipment, filtration equipment, redissolution equipment, energy adjustment tanks, electrolysis equipment and other main equipment. It is also equipped with public auxiliary facilities including pure water preparation system, thermal oil boiler, circulating cooling water, compressed air, nitrogen, electricity, etc. It is equipped with 12 raw material tanks and 6 finished product tanks, with a Class A warehouse of more than 5,000 square meters, a Class B warehouse of nearly 4,000 square meters, a Class B hazardous waste warehouse of nearly 2,000 square meters, and a Class C warehouse of nearly 7,000 square meters, which are used to prepare electrolytes for all-vanadium liquid flow batteries that meet national standards.
Since its establishment, Meiumiao Energy Storage has, based on the technical support of Meiumiao Technology's electrochemical laboratory, comprehensively planned and laid out the supply links of key materials for all-vanadium liquid flow batteries. By deploying high-quality vanadium mines, building its own electrolyte production lines, and independently developing and producing battery management systems, energy management systems, battery stacks and complete energy storage systems, it has the advantages of independent control and cost control over the vanadium battery industry chain.
