International Energy Network learned that China National Electric Equipment Group Co., Ltd. recently released a notice on the centralized procurement of photovoltaic inverters. The announcement document shows that China National Electric Equipment Group Co., Ltd.'s purchase of inverter equipment is divided into two bids, of which the first bid is to purchase string inverters above 196kW, with a total capacity of 1,155MW. The second bid is to purchase 15-110kW string inverters, with a total purchase capacity of 540MW.
For bidders, the announcement requires that for Package 1-6 string inverters, the cumulative shipments of 196kw and above string inverters of the respondent from January 1, 2021 to date shall exceed 500MW. Package 7-12 string inverters: The cumulative shipments of 15kw110kw string inverters of the respondent from January 1, 2021 to date shall exceed 200MW.
