On January 29, the Sichuan Provincial People's Government website announced the list of key projects in Sichuan Province in 2024, covering 196 newly started projects and 504 continued projects. The "Desheng Vanadium Resources Comprehensive Utilization Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction Technical Transformation Project" was listed as one of the 137 continued manufacturing projects.
A relevant person in charge of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission said that in 2024, the whole province will further strengthen the concept of "projects are king", adhere to organizing economic work with project work, and do a good job in the province's key projects with greater efforts and more practical measures. We will make further efforts to accelerate project implementation, ensure factor guarantees, optimize the business environment, and tighten the responsibilities of all parties. We will effectively play the key role of investment in stabilizing growth and promote high-quality development with high-quality projects.
The total investment of Desheng Vanadium Resource Comprehensive Utilization Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction Technical Transformation Project is planned to be RMB 878 million, including 50MW waste heat and waste gas ultra-high temperature and ultra-high pressure power generation project, vanadium resource green and efficient utilization technical transformation project, etc. After completion, the project will realize the efficient and green comprehensive recycling of waste heat and waste gas and vanadium resources, greatly improve the company's energy resource comprehensive utilization and conversion efficiency, avoid resource waste, make positive contributions to the industry's energy conservation and carbon reduction, and green development, and set a benchmark for Leshan's green and low-carbon industrial development.
