On January 24, Changsha Luyuan Energy Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Luyuan Energy Materials") signed a cooperation agreement with the People's Government of Huimin County, Shandong Province on the construction of GW-level large-scale energy storage projects and sodium-ion battery cells.
In order to actively respond to the strategic goals of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality" proposed by General Secretary Xi, promote green energy transformation, and achieve green and low-carbon energy development, the People's Government of Huimin County, Shandong Province, has given corresponding preferential policies, coordinated leasing resources, and supported energy storage policies by leveraging its regional advantages, and assisted our company in carrying out the sodium-ion battery cell project.
Luyuan Energy Materials has taken advantage of its leading technology and rich experience in the field of new energy. The two parties have cooperated in a mutually beneficial cooperation to build a sodium ion battery cell project within the jurisdiction of Huimin County; a large-scale energy storage power station project with a scale of 1GW/2GWh. The project will be implemented in phases according to the capacity demand of the new energy leasing energy storage power station. The first phase of the energy storage power station will have a construction scale of 300MW/600MWh; the second phase will have a construction scale of 300MW/600MWh; and the third phase will have a construction scale of 400MW/800MWh.
Taking advantage of the "dual carbon" trend, we believe that with the strong combination of both parties, we can seize opportunities in new energy + energy storage, energy storage applications, etc., promote the green transformation of traditional industries, and help achieve carbon neutrality in buildings as soon as possible.
