On December 21, Gotion High-tech's first battery pack product in the United States officially rolled off the production line at the Fremont factory, marking the official start of Gotion High-tech's "Made in the USA" steps. This is another important move by Gotion High-tech after announcing the layout of batteries and materials in Illinois and Michigan, USA. Anhui Vice Governor Sun Yong, US California Congressman Alex Lee, Fremont Mayor Lily Mei, Chinese Consulate General in San Francisco Commercial Counselor Wu Peimin, Gotion High-tech Senior Vice President and President of Americas Business Li Chen and others witnessed the event on site.
Guoxuan High-tech's Fremont factory is located in the Silicon Valley area of the United States. It has a planned production capacity of 1GWh and an automation rate of 85%. It is the first Pack production line that Guoxuan has deployed in the US market. That morning, the factory's first battery pack production line was officially put into production, and Guoxuan Battery officially started the "Made in the USA" step. The Fremont factory targets the American ESS market and mainly produces portable energy storage products and household energy storage products with capacities ranging from 3kWh to 30kWh. In addition, the factory will continue to make efforts in technology and product innovation, customer development, service upgrades, and production capacity matching to provide customers with reliable and safe integrated energy storage systems.
Li Chen, senior vice president of Gotion High-tech and president of its Americas business, said that Silicon Valley is the core highland for entrepreneurship and innovation. The establishment of the Silicon Valley Research Institute in the United States in 2014 was the starting point for Gotion to go international, and it has been exactly ten years today. The company established the Gotion Fremont factory in accordance with the strategic guidance of "local for local". "For ten years, we have always adhered to the 'three-in-one' layout of localized R&D, localized manufacturing and localized marketing. From the initial development of battery management systems to today's battery factories, we have gone through many challenges and tests. Now we have made our mark in the American market. In the future, with the help of the Illinois battery factory and the Michigan material factory, Gotion will work with customers to build a localized, diversified, full-value chain supply chain system. "
