In terms of management safety, Narada Energy Storage BMS comprehensively monitors the voltage, current, temperature, etc. of the battery. Through the four-layer three-dimensional protection of "data collection layer, charge and discharge control layer, system management layer, and cloud service layer", it can control the health status of the battery in real time. When an abnormal battery status is detected, the BMS will issue an alarm in time, greatly reducing the probability of system failure. This establishes the second line of defense for management safety.
The energy storage system also needs a third active safety line of defense. Narada Energy Storage System implements "one warning, two discharges, three eliminations" in terms of active safety. The system has established a multi-dimensional early warning model based on the combination of data drive and battery cell mechanism model, and a three-level detection and early warning, which can effectively prevent thermal runaway.
The energy storage system is equipped with inhibitors that can directly reach the PACK and act on the battery cells, providing efficient fire prevention and continuous suppression. In addition, the energy storage system will formulate strategies and program control valves based on the thermal runaway model to release inhibitors multiple times to extend the protection time. In terms of passive fire protection, each PACK has a built-in micro-suppression device that is passively triggered to provide backup and dual protection.
