On the morning of December 2nd, a handover ceremony was held for the 15GWh plant of the first phase of Farasis Energy’s 30GWh new energy battery project. Relevant leaders and unit heads of Ganzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone, Farasis Energy Chairman Wang Yu, General Manager Chen Binbo, and Deputy General Manager Wang Zhigang attended the ceremony.
Farasis Energy's Ganzhou 30GWh new energy battery project is located in Ganzhou New Energy Science and Technology City, Jiangxi Province. The overall planned construction area is about 550,000 square meters. The project is built in two phases and plans to produce SPS large soft-pack batteries. This project is an important strategic fulcrum for the company's future, reflecting the company's advantages and determination to deepen its roots in Ganzhou and build SPS core competitiveness. In the future, we will continue to focus on innovation, promote the implementation of the industrial chain, and contribute to the high-quality economic development of Ganzhou City.
At present, the company has entered a stage of large-scale and global development, with a rich product range and a diversified customer structure, covering passenger cars, smart energy storage and emerging market fields (such as electric motorcycles, two-wheeled vehicles, battery replacement, electric aircraft, etc.). The Ganzhou 30GWh new energy battery project will help the company to continuously expand its production capacity and market share, consolidate its industry-leading position as a leader in soft-pack batteries, meet the needs of different customers, and ensure stable supply to global customers, thereby achieving a win-win situation for the new energy industry and promoting the "dual carbon" goal process.
