On November 25, 2023, the 10th anniversary celebration of Hunan Cube New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cube New Energy") and the commissioning ceremony of the second phase of the energy storage intelligent manufacturing base were successfully held at the Zhuzhou Midea Marriott Hotel.
The conference first invited Professor Xie Jian from the School of Materials and Engineering of Zhejiang University to share the progress of the R&D cooperation between Cube New Energy and Zhejiang University, and jointly discuss the development status and future R&D direction of new batteries. The company has maintained a close cooperative relationship with Zhejiang University since its establishment, and this year, it once again joined hands with Zhejiang University to jointly build a graduate experimental base.
New Product Launch
Xu Xiongwen, R&D director of Cube New Energy, introduced two new products: Feihuang 1# 375Ah lithium iron phosphate battery and Yinglong 1# polyanion sodium ion battery.
Sodium-ion batteries are developing rapidly. The energy storage field is very compatible with the characteristics of sodium-ion batteries due to its cost sensitivity and high safety requirements. It will be the mainstream application scenario in the future. The two newly released products also indicate that Cube New Energy is increasing its layout in the energy storage track.

Afterwards, witnessed by all the participants, Cube New Energy signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shandong Jinqihang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., Hunan Runzetongda Ship Co., Ltd., and Echion Technologies Limited CEO Jean.
After playing the video introducing the second phase of the Cube New Energy Energy Storage Intelligent Manufacturing Base at the event, Cube New Energy General Manager Tu Jian invited Zhuzhou CPPCC Party Secretary and Chairman Nie Fanghong, Zhuzhou Science and Technology Bureau Party Secretary and Director Li Hong, Tianjin Lishen Battery Co., Ltd. Former Chairman Qin Xingcai, Guangdong Meilian New Materials Co., Ltd. Chairman Huang Weishan, Anshan Qicai Chemical Co., Ltd. Chairman Xu Huixiang, Huizhou Desay Battery Co., Ltd. President Cheng Yuefan, Guizhou Zhenhua New Materials Co., Ltd. General Manager Xiang Qianxin, and Liaoning Starry Sky Sodium Battery Co., Ltd. Chairman Li Yongcheng to the stage to jointly open the commissioning ceremony of the second phase of the energy storage intelligent manufacturing base.
It is reported that the equipment investment of Cube New Energy Phase II Energy Storage Intelligent Manufacturing Base is 230 million yuan in total. It mainly produces soft-pack batteries such as lithium iron phosphate batteries and sodium ion batteries. It can achieve an annual production capacity of 1GWh of energy storage batteries. In the future, it will also become another important growth pole for the rapid development of the company.
