On October 21, Jidu and CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly promote the research and development and mass production of new energy technology products for automotive robots. Xia Yiping, CEO of Jidu and Jiyue, and Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and General Manager of CATL, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
At present, CATL has provided high-performance power battery products and service guarantees for the automotive robot Jiyue 01. In the future, CATL will continue to provide support for Jidu Auto's market business, including new project and new technology cooperation, Shenxing supercharger battery supply, etc., and work with Jidu to promote the improvement and development of the smart travel industry chain.
Jiyue is a high-end smart car robot brand, dedicated to creating a benchmark smart technology travel experience for users with high-end smart driving, smart cabin products and innovative digital services. CATL and Jidu jointly explored a new R&D model of "two-way joint research", innovated and mutually beneficial, and tailored a series of technical solutions for car robots, continuously promoting the popularization and application of cutting-edge travel technology.
CATL and Jidu have complementary advantages and have broad space for cooperation in the fields of high-voltage supercharging technology, charging and swapping, energy storage, etc. They will further strengthen technical cooperation and exchanges, continuously expand the scope of cooperation, enhance the level of cooperation, and work together to promote comprehensive electrification and smart travel.
