- Monitoring and alarming
The monitoring function of the monitoring system shall comply with but not be limited to the following requirements:
a) The operating parameters and equipment status of the main electrical equipment should be monitored through the display;
b) It should be able to monitor and display the communication status and communication messages of each device in real time;
c) The remote measurement and alarm quantity uploaded by the battery management system and power conversion system to the monitoring system must have a dedicated interface display and alarm

- Control and regulation
Control scope: AC circuit breakers, power conversion systems and other related important equipment in the station, including power conversion system start/stop, operation/maintenance status switching, grid-connected charging/discharging, off-grid discharge, protection soft pressure plate switching, etc. The monitoring system supports the following application modes according to its functional positioning: peak shaving and valley filling, isolated grid operation, system frequency regulation, voltage support, power quality management, smooth power output, and tracking planned output.

- Power quality monitoring
Monitor the voltage fluctuation and flicker, three-phase voltage imbalance, voltage swell/sag, short-term interruption, harmonic distortion and other operating conditions of the energy storage system AC circuit, record events and fault waveforms in real time, and provide data sources for power quality analysis and management.

- Enterprise Microgrid Energy Efficiency Management
In addition to providing monitoring and alarms for energy storage systems, the AcrelEMS enterprise microgrid energy efficiency management platform is also an integrated management platform for the source, grid, load, storage, charging, and operation and maintenance within the enterprise. It provides comprehensive monitoring, optimization control, equipment management, operation and maintenance management, analysis reports, etc. for the energy efficiency management of enterprise microgrids, and provides data services and abnormal alarms based on WEB and APP.

- Conclusion
Driven by the dual carbon goals and grid operation safety requirements, photovoltaic power generation and supporting energy storage systems will receive more and more policy support in the future. It is conceivable that more and more capital investment will promote the rapid development of the industry in the future, thereby improving the safety of grid operation and improving the efficiency of electricity use. However, the operation safety of microgrid systems, especially photovoltaic power stations and energy storage power stations, cannot be ignored. It is necessary to strictly follow the standards and establish a photovoltaic and energy storage monitoring and operation management system to monitor, warn, control and operate photovoltaic power stations and energy storage systems to ensure safe production.
In the future new power systems, the interaction within the enterprise's photovoltaic storage and charging microgrid and between the enterprise's microgrid and the large power grid will become more and more frequent. This requires a unified platform to monitor and manage the enterprise's "source-grid-load-storage-charging" and operation and maintenance in a unified manner. Only in this way can the efficient operation of the enterprise's microgrid be guaranteed, thereby promoting the new power system to move towards a stable, reliable, and low-carbon virtuous cycle.
