On February 16, the intelligent high-voltage photovoltaic inverter (HNPVD-MV) independently developed by Huaneng Qingneng Institute was officially launched. The photovoltaic inverter increases the DC voltage to more than 2000V, breaking through the core technology of high-efficiency multi-level coupling, high-voltage, high-power density and wide-range grid-connected operation, marking a major breakthrough in my country's photovoltaic inverter technology in high-voltage and large-capacity grid-connected operation.

The HNPVD-MV photovoltaic inverter was independently developed by Huaneng Qingneng Institute, and has overcome key technologies such as high-voltage and large-capacity inverter modular topology and multi-machine intelligent master-slave control. With a DC bus voltage of 2000V and an AC output voltage of 1140V, it can meet the grid-connected power requirements from 1.375MW to 11MW. The overall operating efficiency exceeds 99.2%, and the power station collection loss is reduced by more than 20%. The HNPVD-MV photovoltaic inverter can meet the efficient grid connection of large-scale photovoltaic power stations, effectively save power station costs and improve power generation efficiency. It has been applied in the engineering of Huaneng Gansu Longdong 10 million kilowatt photovoltaic base, providing solutions and strong support for efficient and friendly grid connection of new energy.

During the development of the photovoltaic inverter, various performance tests such as high-precision electromagnetic transient simulation analysis, hardware-in-the-loop simulation verification, and grid access adaptability verification were carried out at the Huaneng New Energy Panoramic Simulation Center to fully meet the friendly grid-connected development needs under the construction of the new power system. Huaneng Qingneng Institute will also further develop advanced photovoltaic inverter series products, covering various centralized and distributed photovoltaic application scenarios, to help my country's photovoltaic industry develop rapidly.
