Strengthen the technical research on the industrialization of new energy storage batteries and promote the large-scale application of advanced energy storage technologies and products. Research breakthroughs in key technologies such as ultra-long life and high-safety battery systems, large-scale, high-capacity and high-efficiency energy storage, and mobile energy storage for vehicles, and accelerate the development of new batteries such as solid-state batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and hydrogen energy storage/fuel cells .

Hydrogen energy storage/fuel cells. Accelerate the research and development of efficient hydrogen production technology, and promote the research and development of hydrogen storage materials, hydrogen storage containers, and on-board hydrogen storage systems. Accelerate the research and development and promotion and application of efficient fuel cells such as hydrogen, methanol, and natural gas. Make breakthroughs in key fuel cell technologies such as fuel cells, bipolar plates, proton exchange membranes, catalysts, and membrane electrode materials. Support the development and application of system integration technologies such as hydrogen production, storage, and combustion.
Continue to develop comprehensive standardization technology systems for photovoltaics, lithium batteries, etc. Coordinate the promotion of national standards, industry standards and group standards for smart photovoltaics, research and formulate a full life cycle evaluation system and safety standards for lithium-ion batteries, and strengthen research on standard systems for solid-state batteries, sodium-ion batteries, supercapacitors, hydrogen energy storage/fuel cells , etc.
