On November 22, the first batch of battery swap stations jointly built by NIO and CNOOC were officially put into operation at the CNOOC Licheng Service Area on the G94 Pearl River Delta Ring Expressway (towards Huadu and Panyu).

China National Offshore Oil Corporation is China's largest offshore oil and gas production operator. In addition to traditional oil and gas business, CNOOC has been actively developing new energy businesses such as offshore wind power, promoting the transformation from a traditional oil product sales company to a comprehensive energy service provider, and contributing to the realization of the "dual carbon" goal.

The launch of the first batch of cooperation stations between NIO and CNOOC will further increase the high-speed battery swap network in the Greater Bay Area urban agglomeration. It also marks that the two parties will work together to promote carbon peak and carbon neutrality, assist energy transformation, promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry, and bring users a more convenient charging experience.

At the event, Chen Chuang, Party Secretary and General Manager of CNOOC South China Sales Company, and Wu Peng, Vice President of Energy Operations at NIO, attended the launch ceremony together, cut the ribbon to open the battery swap station, and looked forward to more cooperation between NIO and CNOOC.

With the launch of the first batch of battery swap stations in cooperation with China National Offshore Oil Corporation, NIO has successively cooperated with Sinopec, PetroChina, Shell, and China National Offshore Oil Corporation to jointly build charging and swap stations. Relying on the network layout of the "Big Four Oil Companies", it has accelerated the layout and allowed more users to enjoy convenient charging services.
