On October 28, the founding ceremony of Juwan New Energy, a joint venture between Juwan Technology Research and Huafeng Co., Ltd., and the completion ceremony of its R&D center were grandly held in Shunde District, Foshan City, a trillion-dollar industrial innovation city. Sun Fengchun, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Electric Vehicles, and dean of the Shenzhen Automotive Research Institute of Beijing Institute of Technology, Huang Xiangdong, a representative of the Shunde District Government of Foshan City and chairman of Guangzhou Juwan Technology Research Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Juwan Technology Research), and Tan Guoying, honorary chairman of Guangdong Huafeng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Huafeng Co., Ltd.), and other experts and leaders attended the event together to witness the rise of another new energy innovation force in the Greater Bay Area.
The Juwan XFC high-speed battery can be charged 6 times faster than ordinary power batteries, and it only takes 8 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% of the power, and the cruising range is increased by more than 400 kilometers. The scientific and technological achievements have not only won the world record certification of "the fastest charging technology for electric vehicles" by WRCA (World Record Certification Agency), but have also been installed in the GAC AION V PLUS model for mass production and launch, becoming the first in the world to realize the market application of 6C rate power batteries.
It is reported that the completed Jufeng New Energy R&D Center covers an area of about 9,390m² and is equipped with process equipment for the entire process from material innovation, experiments, testing, and manufacturing. The intelligent and self-controlled pilot production lines are strictly built in accordance with automotive-grade standards, all equipment is single-machine automated, the workshop environment is dust-free, the production process is strictly controlled, and the comprehensive quality indicators have reached the advanced level of similar facilities at home and abroad. Jufeng New Energy R&D Center adopts the latest generation of highly integrated flexible intelligent production equipment, coupled with an extremely strict power battery manufacturing environment and perfect process control, which can ensure extremely high product consistency in dust, temperature and humidity, burrs, and foreign matter control, and at the same time has the ability to detect and test the entire process from raw materials, semi-finished products to finished products. The completion of Jufeng New Energy R&D Center will play an important role in promoting the innovation and industrialization development of the joint venture.
