Inverter shipments, this is another highly anticipated ranking! In 2021, the global inverter shipments of China have risen to a higher level, and the ranking has risen again, occupying the top four in the world! 5 of the top 6 in global shipments!
According to the author's statistics, in the 2021 global photovoltaic inverter shipment rankings, the first groups Huawei and Sungrow are still far ahead, with shipments of 52GW and 47GW respectively.
In the second group with shipments between 10-15GW, Ginlong Technology and Growatt ranked third, surpassing SMA and Power Electronics, which ranked third and fourth for many years. GoodWe ranked sixth with shipments exceeding 12GW.

Power electronics shipped nearly 10GW, and Sineng Electric shipped 7.45GW, which is close to the ninth place XXX. SolarEdge, as the only representative of string + micro inverter manufacturers, shipped more than 7GW.
Therefore, if ranked by inverter sales, SolarEdge's solar business revenue reached $1.79 billion, which may be higher than Huawei's inverter revenue. Enphase, whose main business is microinverters, shipped 1.082GW and had inverter revenue of about $1.2 billion, while Chinese microinverter company Holmium also shipped nearly 1GW with revenue of only RMB 450 million.
Although SMA inverters ranked only fifth in terms of shipments, they still far exceeded Growatt and Jinlong in terms of revenue. The price per watt of SolarEdge, Enphase and SMA inverters shows that Chinese string inverter manufacturers and micro inverter manufacturers still have a lot of market space to expand.
