It is understood that the supply of "green electricity" is an important measure for the Boao Forum for Asia 2022 Annual Conference to promote "green conference". "Green electricity" refers to green electricity, which refers to electricity obtained through a production process with zero carbon dioxide emissions (or close to zero carbon dioxide emissions). "Green electricity" mainly comes from clean energy, including solar energy, wind energy, biomass energy, etc. At present, my country's "green electricity" is mainly based on solar photovoltaic power generation and wind power generation.

Relevant person in charge of the Hainan Power Grid Company of the State Grid Corporation of China introduced that in accordance with the "green conference" concept of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2022, the State Grid Corporation of China explored the establishment of a green electricity trading mechanism for power grid agent power purchasing companies, actively built a platform, and carried out "green electricity" transactions for small and medium-sized enterprise users for the first time in the country, prompting the Hainan Boao Forum for Asia Hotel and photovoltaic companies to reach a "green electricity" transaction.

"The overall electricity consumption of the Boao Forum for Asia Hotel is relatively small, and it has not yet directly participated in medium- and long-term market electricity transactions. This green electricity subscription transaction provides a platform for the consumption of green electricity." A relevant person in charge of the Boao Forum for Asia Hotel said that through the green electricity subscription transaction, all venues use 100% "green electricity" and obtained a national unified green electricity purchase certificate. This is the first time at the Boao Forum for Asia.

"This is also the first time that Hainan has carried out green electricity subscription transactions." Chen Xiaowen from the Market Planning Department of Hainan Power Trading Center said that the transaction volume of 1 million kWh is equivalent to reducing the burning of standard coal by about 300 tons and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 750 tons. This "green electricity" subscription transaction explored the establishment of a green electricity trading mechanism for power grid agent purchasing companies, which helped the green development of Hainan Free Trade Port.

According to the relevant person in charge of Hainan Power Grid Company of China Southern Power Grid, in order to ensure the safety and reliability of green electricity for the Boao Forum for Asia, Hainan Power Grid Company has done a good job in comprehensive operation and inspection of 500 kV interconnected lines to ensure smooth transmission and reception channels between provinces. At the same time, it has also carried out intelligent sensing terminals and distribution network automation upgrades for the Boao Forum for Asia Hotel and other important power supply guarantee sites, realizing automatic sensing and multi-dimensional monitoring of the entire power supply guarantee business process, and promoting the digital and intelligent transformation of Boao power supply guarantee.

In addition, in order to actively serve the "green conference", Hainan Power Grid also cooperated in promoting the construction of charging facilities and grid-connected services for the forum's annual meeting, investing a total of 9.03 million yuan to build supporting projects for new energy vehicles such as charging piles and battery swap stations at five locations including the Boao Railway Station.

At the same time, the company took the initiative to provide customer service for the annual meeting charging pile project, opened a "green channel for registration and installation" to implement fast reporting and installation, with a total registration capacity of 8,513 kilowatts. The battery swap station can meet the battery swap needs of 480 vehicles per day, effectively supporting the service guarantee work of the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference and helping to showcase the green and zero-carbon development concept of Hainan Free Trade Port.
