Officials from the National Energy Administration visited China Electric Power Research Institute for research

China Energy Storage Network: According to the National Energy Administration on December 15, on December 10, Yu Bing, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the National Energy Administration, led a team to the China Electric Power Research Institute to conduct research on power system safety and network security.

Yu Bing and his team visited the State Grid Simulation Center, the power industry network security simulation verification environment, and the construction of the New Energy Numerical Weather Forecast Center. They organized a discussion and exchanged views, and put forward three requirements for ensuring energy and power supply and accelerating the construction of a new power system. First, we must adhere to innovation-driven development and give full play to the main role of enterprises in scientific and technological innovation. Second, we must adhere to safety-oriented development and make every effort to ensure the safe and stable operation of large power grids. Third, we must scientifically grasp the characteristics, connotations, and implementation paths of the new power system and promote the construction of the new power system in a solid, steady and orderly manner.
