On December 3, Beijing Benz's new battery production line was officially completed, and the first power battery produced by its trial assembly was successfully delivered. The power batteries of this production line will be used in the new EQE, a pure electric vehicle of the Mercedes-EQ brand, in the future. The new battery production line has the characteristics of automation and flexibility in spacing, which can not only realize the mixed production of different battery products, but also adjust the production capacity of different batteries at any time according to market demand.
The newly completed Beijing Benz Power Battery Factory production line comprehensively applies solutions such as virtual reality technology, intelligent production control, intelligent quality analysis, intelligent logistics management, and intelligent maintenance. It also combines intelligent equipment such as robots and AGV vehicles to make the production process highly intelligent and automated, fully ensuring the consistency and stability of large-scale battery production.
In addition, the power battery factory also comprehensively adopts energy-saving and environmental protection measures such as factory ceiling skylights, intelligent energy management systems, and paperless production to reduce energy consumption, improve energy utilization, and minimize the carbon footprint of the production process, helping Mercedes-Benz's global passenger car factories achieve carbon neutrality.
