On June 18, the Chenzhou Jiucaiping Energy Storage Power Station, a battery energy storage demonstration project site of the Hunan Power Grid Phase II, which was co-built by Huazi Technology, was successfully connected to the grid and put into trial operation.
The Chenzhou Jiucaiping Energy Storage Power Station project uses the vacant land in the existing substation as the construction site. The construction scale is 22.5MW/45MWh on the 10kV AC side. It adopts electrochemical energy storage technology and a "fully prefabricated cabin" layout. Huazi Technology provides relevant products and services for the project.
The completion of the project has greatly improved the level of new energy consumption in the province and enhanced the power supply capacity of Hunan power grid during peak load periods. It can moderately reduce the investment in power grid infrastructure and have the ability to support the transient safety and stability of the power grid.
