Ming Yang Smart Energy and CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement to promote renewable energy power generation and energy storage applications

On April 29, 2021, Ming Yang Smart Energy Group Co., Ltd. (601615.SH) and Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. (300750.SZ) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at the headquarters of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd. Zhang Chuanwei, Chairman of Ming Yang Smart Energy, and Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Ltd., held talks and witnessed the signing ceremony together.

During the talks, the two sides reached a deep consensus on promoting the implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement. Witnessed by Mr. Zhang Chuanwei, Chairman of Ming Yang Smart Energy, and Mr. Zeng Yuqun, Chairman of CATL, Mr. Shen Zhongmin, Vice Chairman of Ming Yang Smart Energy, and Mr. Tan Libin, Senior Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of CATL, signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties.

According to the agreement, the two parties have reached a strategic cooperation relationship on the application of energy storage in the field of renewable energy power generation, and established a comprehensive strategic partnership in the fields of wind, solar and storage integration and source, grid, load and storage integration (hereinafter referred to as the "two integrations"). The two parties will carry out comprehensive cooperation in the design, development, investment, construction, operation, maintenance of energy storage system products and "two integrations" projects, as well as the development and application of new technologies.
