Recently, the 10×1000Nm 3 /h water electrolysis hydrogen production project of the solar electrolysis hydrogen storage research and demonstration project of Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. undertaken by China National Chemical Engineering 11 Company was successfully put into production after a one-time trial run.
This project is the first hydrogen energy industry project in Ningxia and the largest integrated renewable energy hydrogen production and storage project in China. It uses the most advanced domestically produced high-efficiency alkaline electrolyzer with a single production capacity of 1,000 standard cubic meters per hour. After it goes into production, it is expected to produce 160 million standard cubic meters of hydrogen annually and 80 million standard cubic meters of oxygen as a by-product. It can reduce coal consumption by 254,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions by 445,000 tons each year. At the same time, the produced hydrogen is organically combined with the existing coal chemical equipment of Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. to achieve cost reduction, efficiency improvement, energy conservation and emission reduction in the methanol production process; on the other hand, it will carry out hydrogen production and storage, hydrogen storage and transportation, and hydrogen refueling station construction, expand application scenarios through cooperation with urban hydrogen energy demonstration bus lines, and realize the integrated linkage development of the hydrogen energy industry chain.
