On March 23, the Wudongde Power Station to Guangdong and Guangxi UHV multi-terminal DC demonstration project line project (Section 15), undertaken by China Energy Construction Guangdong Thermal Power, was fully connected.
The 15th section of the line project is located in the high mountains and mountainous areas of Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The newly built line is about 70 kilometers long, with 154 tower bases, including 59 tension towers and 95 straight towers. It passes through three cities, three counties and eight towns in Liuzhou City, Laibin City and Lipu City, Guilin, Guangxi.
The Wudongde Hydropower Station Transmits Power to Guangdong and Guangxi UHV Multi-Terminal DC Demonstration Project is the world's first UHV normal DC and flexible DC hybrid DC project. Guangdong Thermal Power is responsible for Sections 15 and 17 of the Wudongde Hydropower Station Transmits Power to Guangdong and Guangxi UHV Multi-Terminal DC Demonstration Project.
