On March 5, the Baitian 220 kV substation project located in the Environmental Protection Technology Park in Yuhua District, Changsha City, Hunan Province resumed work. So far, all 176 main grid construction projects in Hunan have resumed work.
In recent days, State Grid Hunan Electric Power Co., Ltd. has insisted on both epidemic prevention and control and resumption of work and production. In order to accelerate the high-quality development of Hunan Power Grid, on February 6, the company carried out preparations for the resumption of work of 15 key projects to meet the peak summer demand, including the Wangcheng 500 kV transmission and transformation project, on the premise of ensuring that the epidemic is controllable; on February 10, preparations for the resumption of work of other main grid construction projects were launched. On February 20, the Wangcheng 500 kV transmission and transformation project officially resumed work.
State Grid Hunan Electric Power urgently mobilized 9,469 site management and construction workers from the province and other provinces (autonomous regions) such as Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan, and Guangxi, and raised epidemic prevention materials from various sources. The company also strengthened cooperation with medical institutions, conducted health checks on all returning workers, and implemented "two-point one-line" closed management at the construction site to ensure good epidemic prevention and control.
