On December 20, 2019, the expansion project of the fourth main transformer of the 500 kV Huipu Substation of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. was successfully put into operation, and the company fully completed the construction tasks in 2019. In 2019, the company started construction of 2479.07 kilometers of 110 kV and above lines with a transformer capacity of 20.38 million kVA, and put into operation 2194.72 kilometers of 110 kV and above lines with a transformer capacity of 23.64 million kVA, with a full-year plan completion rate of 100%.
In 2019, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power made forward-looking plans and coordinated efforts to overcome the impact of continuous rain and snow at the beginning of the year and the super typhoon Lekima in the third quarter, and made every effort to promote the construction of key projects. It successively completed and put into operation a number of milestone projects, including the world's first 500 kV submarine cable, the world's tallest transmission tower, Zhejiang's first 500 kV phase-shifting phase project, and the Nanji Island-mainland interconnection project. The 500 kV substation capacity put into operation throughout the year exceeded 10 million kilovolt-amperes.
At the same time, State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power further optimized infrastructure site management through infrastructure informatization construction. The company carried out research on the "smart infrastructure" system, coordinated the promotion of infrastructure safety and quality, informatization management, modular construction, mechanized construction and other work, accelerated technological innovation and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and promoted the high-quality development of the power grid; innovated the management model of engineering settlement supervision and management, relying on the smart settlement system to achieve data management of the entire process of engineering settlement review, and improved the level of intelligent engineering settlement; carried out special research on divisional settlement, comprehensively promoted divisional settlement in the engineering process, and improved the level of all-factor control.
