State Grid Shanxi Electric Power: Completed the annual power grid construction task ahead of schedule

China Energy Storage Network News: At 2:15 am on December 29, 2019, with the completion of the closing test of the 500 kV Ziguan I and II lines on the Muguajie Power Plant side, the 500 kV transmission project of the Shanxi Muguajie Power Plant was officially energized, which also marked that the power grid construction task of the State Grid Shanxi Electric Power Company in 2019 was completed ahead of schedule.

In 2019, the State Grid Shanxi Electric Power completed the construction of 110 kV and above power grid projects with a scale of 2031.30 kilometers and a transformer capacity of 10.5595 million kVA, and put into operation a scale of 1379.19 kilometers and a transformer capacity of 4.851 million kVA. The construction and operation scales completed 100% and 103.5% of the annual plan respectively, and the annual plan tasks were completed ahead of schedule. A number of key projects such as Changzhi UHV supporting power plant transmission and Taijiao electric railway supporting have been started one after another, and the Yanhuai DC supporting 500 kV Shenquan Power Plant and Muguajie Power Plant transmission, Datong and Changzhi photovoltaic base supporting, Menghua and Dazhang electric railway supporting and other projects have been put into operation ahead of schedule, further improving the utilization efficiency of UHV and enhancing the power transmission capacity of Shanxi.

In 2019, State Grid Shanxi Electric Power carried out the annual construction of infrastructure management efficiency improvement, strictly controlled the quality of projects, deployed and implemented 30 tasks, solved 60 problems covering pre-management, project coordination, safety and quality, and steadily improved the management level of power grid construction. At the same time, the company strictly controlled the quality of projects, and the Yuheng-Weifang UHV transmission and transformation project, which it participated in the construction, won the National Quality Project Gold Award and the China Electric Power Quality Project Award.
