On December 12, the State Grid Ningxia Electric Power Co., Ltd. Yinchuan Urban Energy Internet Comprehensive Demonstration Project - the 110 kV Fengdeng Substation "multi-station integration" project was put into operation.
The 110 kV Fengdeng substation is located at the intersection of Ning'an Street and Shenyang Road in Jinfeng District, Yinchuan City. The station uses cloud computing, big data, spatial geographic information integration and other technologies. On the basis of the existing substation, it integrates charging and swapping stations, data stations, Beidou ground-based augmentation stations, 5G base stations, and cloud-edge collaborative systems to provide electricity and value-added services to more than 70,000 households, small and medium-sized enterprises, and high-tech industries in the surrounding area.
"After the establishment of the Beidou Ground Augmentation Station, the Beidou system signal coverage radius reaches 10 kilometers, and the positioning accuracy reaches 2 centimeters." Ma Yikai, a specialist in the Internet Office of Yinchuan Power Supply Company, gave an example, "For example, a task at the substation requires staff to complete it within a certain interval area. If someone leaves the area, even if they only enter the dangerous area by 1 centimeter, the system will automatically alarm, greatly improving the level of on-site safety management and control." Through the Beidou Ground Augmentation Station, the Fengdeng substation can achieve dynamic centimeter-level and static millimeter-level precise positioning.
The 110 kV Fengdeng substation "multi-station integration" project is a key project of the State Grid Ningxia Power Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things construction, and is also a pilot construction project of the Yinchuan City Energy Internet Comprehensive Demonstration Project. Construction began in August. At the beginning of this year, Yinchuan Power Supply Company planned to build a 110 kV dual power supply, 10 kV "two supplies and one backup", and user dual access "three doubles" target grid in the Yuehai Business District, achieving the goal of 100% transfer of load at any substation and a power supply reliability rate of 99.9992%. At the same time, the company built a new cable channel of 1.9 kilometers, constructed a "three horizontal and two vertical" cable channel pattern, and supported urban energy Internet demonstration projects such as multi-station integration, smart communities, and distribution panoramic perception applications. With the completion of the 110 kV Fengdeng substation "multi-station integration" project, the core area grid of Yinchuan City will be further improved, helping to optimize urban power grid resources and lay a solid foundation for the construction of regional target grids.
On the same day, at Fengdeng Substation, the drone was equipped with a 5G mobile phone to replace the drone's 5G communication module and communicate with the 5G communication base station in the substation. All operating instructions were transmitted to the drone through the base station. The 5G drone followed the route set in advance by the operator and flew south along the Fengdeng Substation to the No. 39-41 towers of the Hua'an Line 1 kilometer away to start patrolling the line. Inside the station, the high-definition images taken by the drone were displayed on the 5G drone power grid smart operation and inspection platform, and the buildings and vegetation around the towers were clearly visible.
"In the past, drones needed a ground control device, and the distance from the control device had to be kept within two to three kilometers. This required the operator to come to the tower base to release the drone. With 5G+Beidou precise positioning, we can control drones to patrol lines across cities, and the drones will automatically analyze and generate patrol reports, saving time and effort and increasing efficiency." Li Hubian, deputy director of the Transmission Operation and Inspection Office of the Operation and Maintenance Department of Yinchuan Power Supply Company, said, "In the future, as long as the lines are covered by 5G signals, we can control drones to patrol lines through 5G networks in the office, expanding the operating range of drones."
At present, Fengdeng Substation has built five 120-kW single-machine dual-gun DC charging piles and one 7-kW AC charging pile. The charging and swapping station is based on the Internet of Vehicles platform, which can realize information interaction between the power grid, customers, charging piles and vehicles, so that electric vehicles can charge during off-peak hours, reduce electricity costs, and promote low-carbon green travel.
In addition to the charging and swapping station, Fengdeng Substation also built a distributed data station, which complements the Yinchuan Smart Yinchuan Big Data Center and provides a series of value-added services such as cloud resource leasing and enterprise network services for small and micro enterprises.
"Data stations can give full play to the high efficiency, flexibility and speed of distributed data centers, provide services such as enterprise cloud and centralized operation and maintenance of new energy enterprises, and serve the digital operations of small and medium-sized enterprises." said Zhan Guohong, director of the Internet Office of Yinchuan Power Supply Company.
Fengdeng Substation can collect energy data in real time during the transmission, transformation, consumption and power regulation processes, use edge computing to analyze power consumption data, and intelligently adjust energy supply and demand, providing support for power grid comprehensive energy service terminal monitoring, intelligent patrol, distribution Internet of Things, industrial infrastructure and other businesses; power supply companies can obtain profits through value-added services such as data station enterprise cloud services, 5G infrastructure leasing, edge computing services and optimized customer energy consumption services; for the society, the station provides smart charging services, shared data station resources, Beidou positioning system and 5G communication deployment value-added services to meet the needs of industrial Internet of Things, transportation, Internet of Vehicles, Internet, etc. for edge computing.
