China Energy Storage Network News: On November 9, the Intelligent Distribution Network Center of State Grid Jibei Electric Power Co., Ltd. started the construction of the IoT transformation of feeder branches, and the construction of the Beidaihe Comprehensive Demonstration Park project of Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things was started.
In accordance with the asset-light operation concept and step-by-step implementation requirements of project construction proposed by State Grid Jibei Electric Power, the Intelligent Distribution Network Center has launched three renovation projects: feeder branch IoT, park smart street lighting system, and park energy smart management and control. It plans to complete the construction in two months and conduct empirical demonstrations simultaneously to ensure that technical means are enriched and application experience is upgraded, striving to create a ubiquitous power Internet of Things demonstration project that can be referenced, replicated, and promoted.
According to reports, the IoT transformation project for feeder branches includes the construction of a low-voltage terminal monitoring hardware system and a distribution network status intelligent perception software system, realizing functions such as information collection, data upload, remote control, as well as panoramic data monitoring, active perception of power outages, power quality monitoring and early warning, line loss analysis, and abnormal early warning functions. The park's smart street light system transformation project includes smart street lights and street light intelligent control management systems, through which the smart street lights are routinely tested and module function controlled, connected to the center's park-level energy service platform, and the power grid terminal IoT display is realized. The park's energy smart management and control transformation project establishes phase change energy storage valley electricity heat storage, uses heat intelligent time-sharing and zoning control to implement energy-saving transformation of the park's heating, and increases the installation of water and heat meters to collect data centrally, combines electrical data in feeder branches to form a panoramic information collection, and carries a smart energy service platform to improve data levels and self-control capabilities, ultimately forming a full perception of energy flow in the park, further improving the park's household IoT.
Previously, the State Grid Jibei Electric Power Intelligent Distribution Center conducted extensive research and, combining the locational advantages of Beidaihe as the "Summer Capital" and the resource advantages of the central park, determined the construction plan for the Beidaihe Comprehensive Demonstration Park of Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things, which includes three projects and 14 sub-tasks, namely the "Station-Station-Household Internet of Things Demonstration Project", the "Management Service Application Upgrade Project" and the "Perception Terminal Detection Support Project".
