China Energy Storage Network News: On November 12, the State Grid Corporation of China's scientific and technological projects "Research and Demonstration of Optimal Configuration of Urban Distribution Network Measurement System and Identification of Key Characteristic Parameters" and "Research and Application of Active Response and Predictive Control Technology for Multi-Loads with Random Power Sources" passed acceptance. These two projects were led by the State Grid Tianjin Electric Power Company. The research results can be applied to the construction of China's power distribution Internet of Things, and play an important supporting role in improving the interactive capabilities of multi-loads and power grids.
In response to the problems of redundant measuring devices, poor system observability, and low quality of measurement data in the construction of distribution automation in my country during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, the research team of the project "Research and Demonstration of Optimal Configuration of Urban Distribution Network Measurement System and Identification Technology of Key Characteristic Parameters" conducted research. The project lasted for two years and made key breakthroughs in the optimization configuration of distribution network measurement devices, reliable distribution measurement, low-voltage distribution automation, and distribution network operation diagnosis technology. It developed reliable distribution measurement devices, urban distribution network operation status diagnosis and early warning function software, etc. At present, the project results have been applied in the demonstration construction of "two-network integration" in Tianjin Binhai, guiding the optimal configuration of distribution network measurement equipment, effectively improving the operation and control capabilities of multiple loads connected to the low-voltage distribution network, as well as the distribution network operation status evaluation and diagnosis level, and strongly supporting the lean operation and maintenance of the distribution network.
The project "Research and Application of Active Response and Predictive Control Technologies for Multi-Loads with Stochastic Power Sources" aims to address the challenges to supply and demand balance and safe operation brought to the power grid by the gradual access of multi-loads. It has constructed a multi-level adjustable multi-load resource aggregation model under market conditions, designed a multi-load resource electricity price incentive mechanism suitable for multiple types of users, proposed a multi-objective multi-time scale coordinated control strategy for virtual energy storage, a predictive control model and optimization control method for multi-loads, developed coordinated control software for distributed load virtual energy storage systems, and a multi-load resource predictive control system platform for industrial parks, and developed a multi-load active response unit. It has been piloted and verified in Tianjin Sino-Singapore Eco-City, and the interactive capabilities of multi-loads and power grids in the pilot area have been significantly improved.
