On August 20, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Co., Ltd. organized its employees to build a three-dimensional real-scene visualization comprehensive display application of the power distribution Internet of Things based on the topological map of the distribution network in Wanghua District, Fushun City, with the professional data connection and sharing application of marketing, distribution and dispatching as the core. The company analyzed and counted the actual equipment quantity according to the hierarchical structure of "substation-branch-meter box", and used it as an auxiliary support for the correction of the low-voltage model of PMS2.0 (engineering production management system), accelerating the construction of the Wanghua District distribution network demonstration area, and laying the foundation for the next step of the distribution network project demand and planning compilation in Wanghua District.
In April this year, State Grid Liaoning Power implemented the work requirements of State Grid Corporation of China to vigorously promote the demonstration application of ubiquitous power Internet of Things, selected Wanghua City District as a typical distribution network construction demonstration area, and carried out comprehensive distribution network project demand construction based on the equipment characteristics and basic conditions of the Wanghua City District distribution network.
Improve the grid structure to ensure reliable power supply
"Based on the actual transformation and development of the old industrial cities in Fushun, we have adjusted the scope of the power supply grid and deepened the division of power supply units based on the needs of load density, load distribution, and power supply reliability to provide customers with reliable power supply." said Chen Gang, director of the State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Equipment Management Department.
State Grid Liaoning Power follows the principle of "inheritance development and precise investment", unifies organizational construction, innovative exploration and research, gives full play to the main responsibilities of municipal and county-level power supply enterprises, and carries out the construction of a comprehensive demonstration zone in accordance with the strategy of "one year pilot, two years of promotion, and three years of results".
On July 21, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power organized local units to compile and complete the "2020-2022 Fushun Wanghua Central Urban Area Grid Distribution Network Construction and Reconstruction Project Demand Report". "We use the substation as the smallest unit to screen problems one by one, divide the main roads into the smallest areas for planning, and ensure that the power supply capacity meets customer needs." Chen Gang introduced that in the low-voltage substation construction plan, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power carefully summarized the problems of each substation, combined with the construction and reconstruction conditions of the problem substation, and formulated a detailed low-voltage construction and reconstruction plan.
To ensure that the basic data of equipment within the grid is detailed, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power, in accordance with the company's distribution network planning and design technical guidelines and other standards, comprehensively sorted out the upper-level power supply capacity-load ratio, wiring mode, load rate, conductor cross-section, power supply radius, access distribution and transformation capacity, corridor distribution and construction status of the distribution network, and focused on checking problems such as full shutdown and full rotation of substations, non-standard wiring, failure to meet N-1 verification, and small trunk cross-section. It analyzed the causes of the problems, located the weak links, and identified the bottlenecks, providing technical support for precise policy implementation.
"We are implementing grid optimization projects to further improve the quality and reliability of power supply and better meet the power supply safety standards and customer power demand." Wang Gang, deputy director of the Power Distribution Department of the State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Equipment Management Department, said that after the completion of the grid distribution network construction, it will promote local economic and social development. The Wanghua District Government has given strong support and sent a letter to express that it will include the Wanghua District Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Construction Special Plan into the local development plan, and assist in the route planning and municipal and other preliminary work.
State Grid Liaoning Power plans to build and renovate 94 ring network boxes, 70 pole-mounted switches, 183 box transformers, 44 pole-mounted transformers, and 103 low-voltage substations for the old lines running within the grid of the Wanghuacheng District distribution network demonstration zone project, to completely eliminate the hidden dangers of old equipment, strengthen equipment perception capabilities, and improve standardization and intelligent operation and maintenance levels.

"I didn't expect the power supply staff to come so quickly and help me solve the switch failure." Wang Ye, the emergency repair specialist, said that the power supply service system will automatically detect whether the upper power supply of the dispatching automation system is faulty based on the content of the work order. At the same time, the system detects whether the transformer is faulty and the changes in the voltage and current of the customer of the marketing power consumption information collection system, and comprehensively analyzes and judges to provide information support for the emergency repair personnel.
Since the establishment of the power supply service command center in November last year, State Grid Liaoning Electric Power has further improved its service capabilities and responded to customer needs in a comprehensive, rapid and accurate manner. As of July this year, the company received 17.20 complaints per million households, a year-on-year decrease of 37.88%; the rate of fault repair reports per million households was 1,114.57, a year-on-year decrease of 7.01%; the time for emergency repairs to arrive at the scene in urban areas was shortened from 17.76 minutes to 16.97 minutes; the fault handling time was shortened from 5.36 hours to 5.13 hours; and the customer satisfaction rate was 99.94%, a year-on-year increase of 0.01%.

It solves the problems of lack of equipment status perception and fault analysis in the distribution grid, intelligently monitors fault classification prediction alarms and lines, realizes fixed-point control of various equipment cabinets, and real-time monitoring and alarm for illegal opening, avoids personal injury and power loss caused by damage to protective facilities, and locates the geographical location information of distribution network equipment, meters, terminals, etc. in real time to improve work efficiency.
"By monitoring the information of special transformers, we can promptly detect sudden changes in customer voltage and current, analyze abnormal operations, and issue abnormal information reminders through SMS platforms and WeChat. Operation and maintenance personnel can obtain multi-dimensional information such as the lost station area, range, fault type, fault location, historical fault records, etc. at the first time, adopt targeted emergency repair strategies, significantly reduce emergency repair time, create a rapid service response circle in the urban area, and improve the response speed to customer demands." Wang Gang said.
