Electricity users can also transform themselves into "power plants" and become "virtual power plants."

Based on the ubiquitous power Internet of Things scenario, our city will build a "virtual power plant", that is, a customer-side autonomous peak-shaving cloud platform. "We provide energy users with customized dispatching and monitoring functions, and encourage users to make autonomous adjustments based on energy usage peaks and valleys and electricity price policies to reduce energy costs," said a relevant person in charge of the power supply company.

This is a highlight of the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things. With just one click, you can make an appointment for a "shared electrician". Drawing on the business model of the sharing economy, State Grid Xiamen Power Supply Company has begun to explore the new business of "shared electricians".

In response to the current situation in society where electrician labor costs are high, there is a lack of process supervision platforms, high operational safety risks, tight supply and demand contradictions, idle and wasted electrician resources, and insufficient development momentum in the industry, the power supply company has built a "shared electrician" network platform based on the basic principles of "government-led, power industry proactive, and electrician voluntary participation."

Users post tasks through the "Shared Electrician App" or initiate requests through the service hotline. Electricians grab orders on the sharing platform, provide visual services throughout the process, and accept platform supervision. The platform also supports user evaluation and generates an electrician credit index.

It is reported that the platform will be launched after it matures, which can achieve a win-win situation for the government, enterprises, electricians and residents.

Charging facilities are interconnected and can be monitored in real time

"Today, we charged 16,835 times, with a charging capacity of 216,086 kWh." At the promotion meeting yesterday afternoon, the Xiamen Charging Infrastructure Government Supervision Platform was officially launched. Reporters saw that information such as charging facility type, charging facility utilization rate, fault information, and real-time charging facility status distribution can all be seen on the platform.

With the support of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the Municipal Parking Industry Association and Lianhang Technology, the power supply company was responsible for the specific implementation of the Xiamen charging infrastructure government supervision platform. It took only 81 days to realize the platform from the start of construction to online operation. At present, the platform has connected 5,104 charging piles, accounting for 85% of the total number of charging piles in Xiamen, and the access data is still growing.

It is reported that the platform monitors and analyzes charging facilities in real time, providing a reference for the deployment of new energy vehicles and the layout planning of charging stations in the future. The platform also provides online channels such as policy release, subsidy review and issuance, supporting the government to carry out scientific and efficient industry supervision.
