"Before, I used to charge my electric car by connecting it to a cable at home. It took more than ten hours to fully charge it, which was time-consuming and unsafe. Now with this charging pile, it can be fully charged in less than an hour in fast charging mode. A full charge can run nearly 300 kilometers, and it only costs about 80 yuan, which saves a lot compared to gasoline cars." Recently, at the Jiangshanli Park Electric Vehicle Charging Station in Zhanggong District, a private car owner who was charging his electric car did the math on the spot.
The electric vehicle charging station in Jiangshanli Park was completed and put into use in March this year. It is one of the demonstration parking lots planned and built by Zhanggong District. The charging station has 20 120-kilowatt DC fast charging piles, and detailed charging procedures are printed on each charging pile. In addition, in order to facilitate the charging of new energy buses, 4 special electric bus charging piles have been built in Ganzhou Bus Station, which can charge 8 34-seat Yutong passenger buses at the same time. It takes about 1 hour to fully charge, and the cruising range can reach 300 kilometers. Since the charging cost is less than the gasoline cost, the monthly charging cost is now less than 40% of the original fuel cost.
Since the beginning of this year, in order to effectively solve the problem of where and how to charge electric car owners after buying a car, Zhanggong District has vigorously promoted the construction of electric car charging infrastructure. In 2019, it plans to build 1,410 electric car-specific and public charging piles in key areas such as internal parking lots of units, user residential parking spaces, social public parking lots, and temporary parking spaces within the jurisdiction through self-construction and self-operation or the introduction of social capital. At the same time, the district requires that parking lots and social public parking lots be built in newly built large public buildings with a construction area of more than 20,000 square meters, and charging infrastructure construction conditions should be built or reserved at a ratio of no less than 10% of the planned parking spaces; in residential areas that have been built or are under construction, parking lots and social public parking lots of large public buildings, charging facilities should be built through transformation and installation, and efforts should be made to create a 5-kilometer charging service radius.
It is reported that the district has successfully introduced Ganzhou Jiaotong Teladian and State Grid Corporation as social capital parties to unify the operation and management of the charging service market in the district. At present, the "Teladian" and "e-charging" mobile phone apps developed by these two companies have been launched, and users can search and grasp the location of charging stations and the use of charging piles in the city at any time, making it convenient for electric car owners to charge nearby.
