Vigorously promote the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things

In accordance with the strategic goal of State Grid Corporation of China to build a world-class energy Internet enterprise and support the construction of "three types and two networks", China Electric Power Research Institute took the lead in carrying out the research and development of distribution Internet of Things, and carried out systematic and in-depth research and development from system architecture, communication protocols, software functional modules to security protection solutions. Together with partners, we will strive to create a new generation of intelligent distribution and transformation terminals based on domestic chips, and build a distribution Internet of Things micro-application management and control center, as well as a terminal APP verification platform.

China Electric Power Research Institute has made every effort to build a new generation of intelligent distribution transformer terminals. The power distribution Internet of Things technology represented by intelligent distribution transformer terminals has made major breakthroughs, realizing the deep integration of traditional industrial technology and Internet of Things technology, and promoting the transformation and upgrading of distribution network technology. "At present, the research and development results have been successfully transformed, and the products have been piloted and applied in 7 units in Shandong and other provinces, which has improved the lean management level of the distribution network and promoted the technological progress of related industries." Zhao Peng, general manager of China Electric Power Research Institute, said that this is of great significance to supporting the construction of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things of State Grid Corporation.

In order to vigorously promote the construction of ubiquitous power Internet of Things and accelerate the implementation and sharing of distribution Internet of Things technology, China Electric Power Research Institute, together with China Electricity Council Technology Development Service Center, China Energy Research Institute (Beijing) Electric Power Research Institute and other units, jointly initiated the establishment of "China Smart Distribution and Internet of Things Innovation Alliance" to integrate industry resources, build a public resource platform, promote distribution technology innovation and industrial upgrading, establish an intellectual property transformation platform and promote market application, and strive to create an inclusive, open, shared and cooperative industrial ecosystem.

As the implementation of the "ubiquitous power Internet of Things" in the field of power distribution, the "distribution Internet of Things" has achieved the perfect integration of the Internet of Things and the distribution network. This year, the State Grid Corporation of China plans to carry out the construction of the first batch of demonstration areas in Tianjin, Shanghai, Qingdao, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and other places. The construction of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things is also in full swing in various places to achieve the large-scale engineering application of key technologies of the distribution Internet of Things and the application and promotion of typical scenarios, provide high-quality services to the majority of power customers, and provide accurate information to industry users.

Transformation of R&D results of power distribution Internet of Things

"The distribution Internet of Things not only allows power facilities to be interconnected, but also greatly changes the lifestyle of every citizen and promotes the sustainable development of the city. The Hangzhou Demonstration Zone is the first pilot area for the State Grid Corporation's future distribution Internet of Things. Next, the entire Zhejiang province will continue to improve and promote it based on this technical architecture." Chen Lei, head of the Distribution Department of the Equipment Management Department of State Grid Zhejiang Electric Power Co., Ltd., is full of confidence in the future.

In 2019, Zhejiang Electric Power Company will promote and apply the distribution Internet of Things construction model that has been verified in the Hangzhou Demonstration Zone in the Hangzhou Bay Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things Provincial Comprehensive Demonstration Zone (including Ningbo Eastern New City, Shaoxing Binhai New City, Huzhou Moganshan, Taizhou Dachen Island), Ningbo Meishan Smart Energy County-level Demonstration, and Wuzhen Internet Light Park-level Demonstration.

As one of the first units to implement the "Distribution Internet of Things" of State Grid Corporation of China, State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company actively promotes the construction of the Xiaoshan Qianjiang Century City Distribution Internet of Things Demonstration Zone. Starting from the actual production and aiming to solve the professional pain points and difficulties in distribution network operation and maintenance, user services, etc., it actively implements the "cloud-pipe-edge-end" distribution Internet of Things architecture system, explores and practices the distribution Internet of Things technology with the new intelligent distribution transformer terminal TTU as the core, deepens the information connection and business integration of marketing, distribution and dispatching, realizes full control of distribution equipment status, full penetration of business processes, and online, transparent, mobile and intelligent distribution business and information processing, comprehensively improving the distribution network operation and maintenance management level and high-quality power supply service level.

In addition, the Jiaxing Wuzhen Internet Light Power Internet of Things Comprehensive Demonstration Project was listed as one of the eight key park-level comprehensive demonstration projects of the State Grid Corporation of China, and a "Ubiquitous Power Internet of Things" technology exhibition hall was built. As the main window for the State Grid Corporation of China to display its power Internet of Things technology to the outside world, this year, around the 2.3 square kilometers of the Wuzhen Summit venue area, the State Grid Corporation of China has built a data-integrated, open-shared, and flexible and controllable park energy Internet ecosystem. Energy data will be used to promote the construction of digital cities, and data will serve the people's livelihood, forming a "Wuzhen experience" that can be learned from, replicated, and promoted.

In order to support the construction of smart city in Jiangbei New District, Nanjing, Jiangsu, and create a distribution Internet of Things demonstration zone in Jiangbei New District, State Grid Nanjing Power Supply Company, guided by the development needs of green smart cities, realizes panoramic data management, transparent operation status, intelligent diagnosis and decision-making, and rapid service response, and promotes the transformation of distribution networks from traditional operation and maintenance modes to smart operation modes.

Shandong Electric Power Company

According to the goal of "building a ubiquitous power Internet of Things with comprehensive state perception, efficient information processing, and convenient and flexible application", the construction of Jinan Hanyu Jingu and Qingdao Jinjiawan power distribution Internet of Things demonstration areas was carried out. Two distribution rooms, one for existing power distribution and one for incremental power distribution, were selected as the priority, and 29 distribution Internet of Things technologies were selected to build demonstration Internet of Things distribution rooms. The two distribution rooms completed the pilot construction on March 25 and April 8, respectively.
