"The electricity consumption data of the elderly in Room 102, Unit 1, Building 28, Jinchang Wenhuayuan is abnormal, with a deviation rate of more than 50%. Please confirm the elderly's condition as soon as possible!"

On June 26, a warning message pop-up box appeared on the Hangzhou City Brain Platform - Gongshu District's "Eye-Cloud Co-Governance" system. After receiving the information, community staff quickly notified the elderly's family and rushed to the elderly's home for on-site confirmation.

The above application scenarios will soon become a reality as the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company and the City Brain achieve data "hand in hand". This is also a test for the company to promote the application of ubiquitous power Internet of Things in community governance.

The community now has an "eye on power data"

Behind this pilot application is a cloud computing method based on smart meter data collection terminals.

In the first batch of 326 elderly people living alone in Xiaohe Street, Gongshu District, Hangzhou, the electricity consumption data is transmitted to the power cloud database every 15 minutes through the smart meters in the elderly's homes. After cloud computing using artificial intelligence algorithms and combining historical data comparison, the calculation results are output in real time. The calculation results can not only determine whether the electricity consumption in the homes of elderly people living alone is abnormal, and feedback the deviation rate from normal conditions, but also use neural network algorithms to intelligently determine whether the elderly are at home.

"It is very meaningful that the power supply company has connected such a computing module with our public platform for community governance," said Zhong Ming, secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xiaohe Sub-district, Gongshu District. "Our original intention in developing the 'Eye-Cloud Co-Governance' system is to provide community services without blind spots. The living conditions of elderly people living alone have always been one of the blind spots of community services. We have been exploring to find a caring eye that can understand the living conditions of the elderly in real time. This power intelligent cloud computing service has made it possible for the elderly to receive all-weather attention and care from the community."

It is understood that since the beginning of this year, the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has been committed to the solution and application of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things, and proposed to build a co-construction, co-governance and win-win energy Internet ecosystem in the whole society. The power cloud computing service module for elderly people living alone took the lead in making an attempt to use the ubiquitous power Internet of Things that connects everything in the community walls.

"Many people may not understand what ubiquitous power Internet of Things we want to build. The power cloud computing service module for elderly people living alone directly reflects that this wide-area ubiquitous network is within the walls of the community and even at the doorsteps of every household." Xu Xianghai, director of the Internet Office of State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company, explained the launch of this module.

“1+N” scenario promotion of ubiquitous power Internet of Things

The service module for elderly people living alone has been launched, and the data products based on cloud computing have also taken shape. The next question is how to promote such precise and intelligent services to more customers?

State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has already got a preliminary answer. As Zhu Jianming, secretary of the Gongshu District Committee of Hangzhou, commented, compared with other data sources, the power data stock is large in scope and has the significance of being promoted in a wide range of fields.

State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company has formed a "1+N" application scenario promotion idea for the ubiquitous power Internet of Things. That is, it connects to a Hangzhou City Brain platform as part of its energy sector strategic planning, opens up third-party data aggregation and sharing around the data platform, and creates N model promotion scenarios such as "green hotel", "excellent energy community", smart energy campus, and smart car-connected charging piles.

"In the long run, the integrated analysis and panoramic application of massive energy data will build a new industrial ecology, optimize services for society and people's livelihood, and support smart urban management." Looking to the future prospects, Zhang Xiaobo, Internet product manager of State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company, who is currently in charge of the module for elderly people living alone, is full of confidence.

Zhang Xiaobo's confidence comes not only from the holographic and real-time nature of power data, but more importantly, among all the public data currently accessed by the city brain platform, power data analysis does not require the installation of external equipment separately, has low cost, less disturbance to residents, and provides complete data.

Next, the State Grid Hangzhou Power Supply Company will focus on the implementation of the "1+N" scenarios, follow the principle of accessing one scenario as it matures, create star products to attract users, divert traffic to the platform, accumulate small flows and converge large flows, and fully explore the commercial value of the ubiquitous power Internet of Things.
