Development is the top priority, and projects are the first support. In order to innovate the way of attracting investment in Xining (national-level) Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as "Xining Development Zone") and promote exchanges and cooperation between development zones, the China Development Zone Association Investment and Development Project Matchmaking Conference with the theme of "Green Development" was held in Xining on June 20, taking the Qingdao Investment and Trade Fair as an opportunity. Relevant persons in charge of development zones and enterprise representatives from all over the country gathered together to accurately match and seek common development, and reached a total of 27 cooperation intention matching projects.
Good ecological foundation, rich resource endowment, efficient industrial platform, increasingly convenient transportation network, good medical, education and other industrial-city integrated life facilities... At this docking meeting, these elements are the main "selling points" vigorously promoted by Xining Development Zone. In recent years, Xining Development Zone has continuously innovated the investment promotion model, created a good business environment, and carried out cluster and chain investment promotion in key areas such as lithium batteries, photovoltaics and thermal energy, aluminum-magnesium alloy high-tech materials, equipment manufacturing, and biomedicine. It has undertaken and introduced a number of chain-filling, chain-strengthening, and chain-extending projects, injecting strong impetus into the local economic development of our province. In 2018, the GDP of Xining Development Zone increased by 9.6% year-on-year; the added value of industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 9.4% year-on-year; fixed asset investment increased by 7.1% year-on-year; and public fiscal budget revenue increased by 13.3% year-on-year.
It is understood that the docking projects involve industries such as electronic information, mechanical manufacturing, biomedicine, new materials, and new energy. The projects include big data innovation and entrepreneurship/industrial application bases, JD Logistics, China Development Zone Industrial Internet Base, Robotics Company, East Asian Water Environment Sustainable Development Research Center, and intelligent solar thermal energy storage projects and other green development projects.
