An occlusion problem
There are two households in Beijing, both of which have installed 8kW power stations. Both were connected to the grid on the same day this year, but one has an average daily power generation of more than 4 degrees, while the other has only 2.5 degrees. In the past 100 days, the difference in power generation is 1260 degrees!
The reason is that the one with lower power generation is blocked, and there is a lot of dust on the surface of the components...

So don’t underestimate the occlusion problem!
1. Why can a small obstruction cause such a big problem?
Last year, the "National Household Photovoltaic Power Station Inspection Report" released by Ineng clearly told everyone:
"Since the cells in a module are all connected in series, and the several modules in each DC module are also connected in series, blocking a module, or even blocking one of the cells in a module, will have a significant impact on the power output of the entire string."
2. So how to solve the occlusion problem?
1) If it is the case as shown in the picture above, it is recommended to remove the obstructing external objects;
2) If the component itself is blocking the view, it is recommended to re-layout the view.
3) If you want to avoid this problem, it is recommended to choose a large system brand, such as Inner, and install it strictly according to the installation drawings provided by the brand.
Second component cleaning problem
In addition to obstruction, there are also component cleaning issues, such as severe dust on the component surface and bird droppings that are not cleaned up in a timely manner.
1. Dust
Failure to clean dust in time will have a great impact on power generation. Last year's "National Household Photovoltaic Power Station Inspection Report" pointed out that the power generation of components that are cleaned weekly is at least 3% higher than that of components that are not cleaned!
Therefore, it is recommended that you strengthen the maintenance of the power station in winter. If you really can't clean it once a week, then do it once every two weeks, or three times a month, otherwise the impact on power generation will be great.
2. Guano
The harm caused by bird droppings is quite serious.
On the one hand, bird droppings are not easy to clean and can easily stick to the surface of components, causing hot spot problems. On the other hand, bird droppings are corrosive and can easily corrode the surface of components if not cleaned up over time.
Therefore, bird droppings should not only be cleaned up in time, but more importantly, they should be prevented.
Therefore, some companies, such as Yunying Operation and Maintenance, have developed special bird repellent devices to address the problem of bird droppings, with good results.
Three inverter maintenance issues
The Yinneng inspection team told Fu Meir that they also found a lot of problems during this inspection.
Some inverters have too much dust in them, causing the screen to stop displaying; some inverters have a layer of fly droppings on the surface; and some inverters have a layer of dust on the surface...
Inverters are very delicate, my dears!
The dust is too big. If it blocks the inverter's exhaust fan or heat sink, the inverter will crash.
Therefore, there are some precautions for inverter maintenance:
1. First of all, you should choose the right place when installing.
1) The inverter is afraid of direct sunlight, so it should be placed in a shaded place;
2) Try to choose a place with less dust, such as under the eaves;
3) Since the heat dissipation part of the inverter is usually at the back, it must be installed strictly according to the instructions and a reasonable distance must be maintained between the inverter and the wall to facilitate heat dissipation.
2. Secondly, check the heat dissipation vents, heat sinks, and exhaust fans regularly. If there is dust in them, brush them with a small brush.
In short, keep the inverter safe, tidy and clean! After all, it is the heart of the power station! Protect it well.
