Although the charging piles are given away free of charge by the manufacturer, whether they can be installed is another matter. At this electric car sales point, the reporter met Mr. Liu, a car owner who came to consult. A month ago, Mr. Liu bought one or two electric cars, but the private charging piles could not be installed. It turned out that the community where Mr. Liu lived was a relatively old community built in the 1980s, and the community had no property management. The only few parking spaces had long been occupied by several residents in the community who installed ground locks. Since Mr. Liu was buying a car for the first time and had no fixed parking space before, there was no written proof from the property management and no fixed parking space. The power supply company could not install a private charging pile for Mr. Liu. In response to this situation, the salesperson said that he was powerless. In desperation, Mr. Liu could only charge in the parking lot of a nearby hotel.

Even if there are parking spaces, the installation of private charging piles still needs the consent of the property management. Sun Qian told reporters that there are many people like Mr. Liu who cannot install because there is no property management or fixed parking spaces in the community. Some car owners are also stuck at the property management level when installing private charging piles.

Ms. Yu is one of these cases. In June this year, Ms. Yu replaced her old car that she had used for 7 years and bought an electric car. Because she already had a fixed parking space, Ms. Yu applied to the community property to install a private charging pile, but was rejected by the property on the grounds that "the owner's fixed parking space is in the basement, which poses a great safety hazard." "I think this is an excuse. The parking lots of shopping malls and office buildings are also underground, and charging piles can also be installed. The property said that if the parking space is on the ground, it can be installed, but our community does not have fixed parking spaces on the ground. The only fixed parking space is in the basement, which is contradictory." Ms. Yu told reporters that for this matter, she did not know how many times she negotiated with the property, and she also asked the sales to send someone to check the capacitor situation in the community, but the property kept delaying on the grounds of safety. "Several of our owners are in this situation. Later, we went to the property together, and the property said that they would study it, but when we asked them to stamp it, they kept saying that the supervisor was not there." For more than two months since picking up the car, Ms. Yu had to choose to park the car at a charging station 900 meters away, and then walk 20 minutes home.

Sun Qian told reporters that in addition to performance, charging is currently the most concerning issue for consumers who plan to buy electric vehicles. She had previously worked in a fourth-tier city selling electric vehicles of the same brand, and many customers gave up buying electric vehicles because they had doubts about the convenience of charging.

During the interview, many interviewees told reporters that compared with fuel vehicles, electric vehicles have many advantages, especially in terms of environmental protection, so the development of electric vehicles is also a general trend, and buying electric vehicles is also a response to the call of relevant national policies. Under this general trend, charging should not be a problem that has always troubled consumers. I hope that this bottleneck can be broken as soon as possible, "Let us get convenience and make a little contribution to clean air and more blue skies," said Sun Qian. (Reporter Li Meng)
