China Energy Storage Network: Since the beginning of summer this year, Shanghai has carried out three demand response pilots of different scales and types, exploring the construction of a demand-side management mechanism with priority on demand response and guaranteed orderly electricity consumption, and achieving full coverage of all types of urban controllable load resources such as industrial production, self-provided power plants, combined heat and power, ice storage, energy storage facilities, public charging stations, and community direct charging piles. Through multiple demand response pilots, the "virtual power plant" of regional commercial office buildings and the flexible load control capabilities of various new technologies have been fully verified, and the support response capabilities such as multi-platform interactive docking, precise calculation and data concurrency have been comprehensively improved.
