2. Precautions for inverter installation

1. Site selection

When selecting an installation site, you should consider whether the surrounding environment will have any impact on the photovoltaic inverter. You should avoid direct sunlight on the inverter, otherwise it will cause the internal temperature of the equipment to be too high, causing the inverter temperature failure, thus affecting the inverter's power generation. At the same time, ensure that there is no interference from other power electronic equipment around.

At the construction site, the inverter should be inspected to prevent damage during transportation.

3. Installation requirements

The installation of the inverter should keep a certain gap around it to facilitate the heat dissipation of the inverter and the maintenance of the inverter manufacturer in the future. If the inverter without lightning protection function is selected, the lightning protection system should be configured on the DC input and keep it well grounded. During the initial installation, the grid connection point should be reasonably selected. It is strictly forbidden to install a large-capacity photovoltaic power generation system at the end of the village. When installing more than 3 (including 3) inverters, different phase live wires should be connected to the grid to prevent inverter overvoltage problems.

Electrical installation must meet local and national electrical standards, and installation operations must be completed by professional technicians.

3. Inverter maintenance precautions

1. In the photovoltaic power station system, no matter what maintenance work is carried out, the electrical connection between the inverter and the grid should be disconnected first, and then the DC side electrical connection should be disconnected. Secondly, wait at least 5 minutes until the internal components of the inverter are fully discharged before carrying out maintenance work.

2. During maintenance operations, perform a preliminary visual inspection of the equipment to see if there is any damage or other dangerous conditions. During specific operations, you should comply with electrostatic protection regulations, wear an anti-static wrist strap, pay attention to the warning signs on the product, pay attention to whether the hot surface temperature of the inverter has cooled down, and avoid unnecessary contact between your body and the circuit board.

3. After the maintenance is completed, make sure that any faults that affect the safety performance of the inverter have been resolved before turning on the inverter again.
