Today, the first batch of lithium battery energy storage systems from Jiangsu Huafu Energy Storage New Technology Co., Ltd. were loaded onto trucks and shipped to a certain plateau area to participate in the local township photovoltaic power station renovation and upgrading project.
The township-level power stations of the "Power to Township" photovoltaic project built in 2007 in XX area have been in operation for 10 years. Due to the disrepair and lack of maintenance of these photovoltaic power stations, there are solar panels damaged, batteries expired and unable to store energy effectively, and some power stations are paralyzed and unable to generate electricity. Local people cannot enjoy the convenience brought by electricity to their work and life. Many units can only rely on generators to generate electricity, and the people are still in the old life of lighting butter lamps. Therefore, it is very necessary to transform and upgrade these photovoltaic power stations.
The application of lithium-ion battery packs in off-grid power stations is challenging. Since there is no communication between the controller and inverter and the charging and discharging circuits are independent, the lithium-ion battery module must implement its own charge and discharge management, high and low temperature protection, and balance control.
The first batch of 13 off-grid photovoltaic power stations in a certain county without electricity were upgraded. The energy storage system uses the 224V lithium iron phosphate battery module independently developed by Jiangsu Huafu Energy Storage. The models include 400Ah, 600Ah, 800Ah and 1200Ah. The battery cluster consists of a certain number of battery packs and high-voltage boxes; the battery system consists of a battery cluster and a three-level battery management system BMS, which is connected to the DC bus through a junction box. The project product lithium iron phosphate battery has the advantages of ultra-long service life, high safety, high current fast charging and discharging, high cold and low temperature resistance, and green environmental protection.
This project uses a large number of iron phosphate battery energy storage systems in high-altitude and cold areas. It is another landmark event for Huafu Energy Storage R&D Institution after launching a complete set of lead-carbon battery container equipment. It is also an important event for Huafu Company to achieve transformation and upgrading. Next, facing challenges such as harsh on-site environment, tight project schedule, and difficult construction, Huafu people stick to their promises, work together, overcome difficulties, and take the lead in safely delivering lithium battery energy storage system equipment to the construction site on time and with guaranteed quality, and immediately put into installation preparation work.
