The application for energy internet demonstration pilot projects and multi-energy complementary integrated optimization demonstration projects is very enthusiastic. Local governments, business circles and academia are conducting a lot of exploration around these pilot demonstration projects. The publication of the book "Energy Internet" is timely. The German E-ENERGY project is not only a lighthouse project in Germany, but also a lighthouse for the world. It not only inspires imagination for China's energy internet construction, but also encourages China to carry out rapid promotion and more in-depth and broad exploration with its proven technical solutions. A careful analysis of Germany's energy internet exploration will definitely be of great benefit to improving the design and implementation level of my country's energy internet projects and making innovations on this basis.
China and Germany can collaborate on innovation in energy internet construction
In building energy internet projects in China, we should not only learn from Germany’s experience, but also consider surpassing Germany. The most outstanding achievement of Germany’s energy transformation is the high proportion of renewable energy access to the power system. However, Germany’s energy transformation still has some unresolved issues and is far from perfect. I personally think there are three main areas that need to be improved. The first is that Germany’s energy efficiency improvement has not met expectations. The second is that the pace of transportation energy transformation is relatively slow, and the development of electric vehicles is not ideal. The third is that Germany’s relatively narrow territory hinders the energy industry from having a broader vision. These problems require China’s energy internet to propose more innovative solutions.
China not only has an inclusive spirit to absorb the experiences of countries around the world, but also has a strong top-down administrative promotion capability. In the field of energy internet, Germany's leading practices and policy innovations will form a scenario of mutual learning and mutual encouragement with China's technological innovation, business model innovation, and policy innovation. Energy internet is likely to become a focus of collaborative innovation between China and Germany.
I hope that this collaborative innovation between China and Germany will be able to more effectively promote the construction of the energy internet in China and Germany, and effectively promote the energy transformation in China, Germany and even the world.
