China Energy Storage Network News: At the 2016 First China Energy Internet Leaders Forum and Energy Internet Most Influential Enterprise Award Ceremony, Sungrow Power Supply won the "Energy Internet" Special Contribution Award. Sungrow Power Supply Chairman Mr. Cao Renxian delivered an award speech entitled "The Photovoltaic Industry Needs the Brain of the Internet" at the meeting. The full text is as follows:
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to China Energy News, the experts and leaders who participated in the selection, and the first China Energy Internet Leaders Forum, which made Sungrow win the "2016 Energy Internet Special Contribution Award". On behalf of all Sungrow employees, I would like to congratulate the successful holding of this forum.
In 2015, the State Council issued the Guiding Opinions on Actively Promoting the "Internet +" Action. In 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission and three other ministries jointly issued the Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of "Internet +" Smart Energy. The introduction of the top-level planning of the energy Internet has brought more drastic changes and rare opportunities to the photovoltaic industry, which is in the era of great change.
Dear friends, since its establishment in 1997, Sungrow has been focusing on the research and development and manufacturing of photovoltaic inverters, wind power converters, energy storage and other products, and providing customers with reliable and efficient system solutions, committed to allowing more people to enjoy clean and efficient green electricity. In the past 19 years, we have installed 31 million kW of inverter equipment worldwide. We have been accumulating a large amount of detailed photovoltaic power station data, and the power station monitoring operation has been running for more than 6 years. Whether it is smart inverters, energy storage interfaces, or virtual power generation, we will certainly not lag behind in the era of big data.
The photovoltaic industry needs the brain of the Internet
In April 2015, we signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud. The two sides have been working closely together in smart energy, power production, operation management, big data analysis, etc., jointly building an "Internet +" power station, and striving to promote the transformation of the new energy industry to "Internet +". Starting from the key power electronic device - inverter, the photovoltaic power station is interconnected with mobile terminals, microgrids, energy consumption management, load optimization, financial payment, etc. to form an energy Internet architecture. This cross-border attempt is not that we want to follow the trend. Behind it is the logic of a series of industrial development. The photovoltaic industry needs the brain of the Internet.
In the future, new energy enterprises will compete to access the grid at a fair price, generate electricity at a low cost, generate green electricity, and realize real free market transactions of energy, all of which cannot be separated from information exchange and the Internet. The Internet of Energy is driven by the requirements for more convenient transactions, automated operation and maintenance, and reduced costs.
The role of the energy Internet will become more and more obvious as time goes by. The future power grid system is an integrated "information-physics" energy Internet. For energy companies, whoever grasps the next round of energy information network and the key information points in the energy transformation process will have the potential to win. Of course, we must also look at the capabilities of the Internet rationally. While enjoying the benefits brought by the Internet, we must also see that the core of industry progress is the innovation of product technology. Technology can inject new vitality into the industry and help the industry move forward.
