You Zheng, Vice President of Tsinghua University:

The world today is facing unprecedented challenges. Sustainable energy development is a major issue facing the world. my country is facing an even more urgent need for a new energy revolution and energy marketization revolution. In recent years, with the continuous development and deep integration of emerging energy technologies with information technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, and mobile Internet, the development prospects of the energy Internet have become increasingly clear. The energy Internet is increasingly widely regarded as an important technical fulcrum for realizing the future energy revolution.

Ding Mincheng, Accenture Global Vice President and Vice Chairman of Greater China:

Cultivating the energy internet should start from core competitiveness. Enterprises should realize that the smart energy system is a plug-and-play system. Therefore, energy sharing and cooperation will replace natural monopoly. Subversive rapid iterative innovation will be the main mode of future technological development. The innovation culture of enterprises should be brave enough to make rapid breakthroughs in a certain field, but also be brave enough to tolerate the probability of innovation failure.

The energy Internet is an energy system driven by the personalized needs of users, so energy companies should conduct in-depth research and analysis on user communities in order to provide a combination of digital services that are fairly priced, convenient to use, and ubiquitous, thereby creating core competitiveness that is difficult to replicate.

Yang Kun, Party Secretary and Executive Vice Chairman of China Electricity Council:

A standardized and unified standard system is the basic condition to support the development of the energy internet and an important guarantee for the construction of a complex system of the energy internet. The practice of the energy internet needs to start with standards, and the role of standards in leading is very important. The standardization of the energy internet requires top-level design, and we must work together for a win-win situation, not act independently; it requires extensive participation from everyone, because it involves many fields and many professions; it requires international and domestic coordinated promotion, and the standards must be pushed to the international level, so that they can "go global".

Fan Bi, Inspector of the General Affairs Department of the State Council Research Office:

Overall, the energy industry is still a traditional model of hierarchical structure and vertical chain, not an Internet model. Although global coal and oil and gas prices have fallen precipitously, they have not been transmitted to China's industrial and commercial users through price mechanisms. Internet + energy is not easy. One is the problem of industrial concentration. Since the power grid and oil and gas pipeline network are natural monopoly industries, they actually suppress competition and cause the failure of price leverage. One is the transaction problem. Our energy commodity reserves are incomplete. For example, electricity relies on trade franchises, and the amount of electricity generated by each power plant is allocated by the state, which restricts the free flow of energy. In terms of energy management, there are total control, indicator management and various approvals. For natural monopoly industries, network supervision is relatively weak.

Therefore, energy must return to its general commodity attributes: in terms of industrial concentration, the supply quantity must be increased; in terms of the circulation system, prices must be liberalized; in terms of government functions, network-based monopoly enterprises must be managed well, and production and delivery must be further liberalized.

Feng Qingdong, chief expert of State Grid Energy Research Institute:

Energy Internet is mainly on the user side, and it must interact with users and be closely related. Smart terminals may develop around energy collection, consumption, and balance. In the future, we may use more Internet devices, such as mobile phones or IPADs, to send some energy information, usage information, price information, supply and demand information to mobile phones or IPADs, and then we interact with the energy system to choose the power consumption time of home appliances.

In addition to achieving deep integration of energy and information in power generation, transmission, storage and energy management systems, at the consumer level, information integration can be achieved through mobile phones and IPADs. True wisdom may determine our behavior through our judgment.

Zeng Ming, Director of the Energy and Power Economics Research Center of North China Electric Power University:

The important mission of the energy internet is to make clean energy more efficient and used on a large scale. One way is to send clean energy from the northwest and southwest through high parameters and long distances, which will exist in China for quite some time. Another way is to distribute, that is, to do distribution in places not far from the load center and with conditions, and use multiple energy sources to complement each other to improve overall energy consumption.

We need to find ways to allow clean energy to participate in transactions. First, let the electricity generated by various power generation methods reflect its value through a market platform mechanism. By designing such a market, all kinds of energy generation can have value. First, let various environmental emission indicators be traded. The emergence of energy Internet and technological progress will bring about a subversive and flat energy form, which will help promote the resolution of the above problems.
