Beijing organizes application for "Internet +" smart energy (energy internet) demonstration project

Development and Reform Commissions of all districts, Development and Reform Bureau of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone:

According to the relevant requirements of the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on Organizing and Implementing the "Internet +" Smart Energy (Energy Internet) Demonstration Project" (National Energy Technology [2016] No. 200), our commission plans to organize various districts to apply for the first batch of national "Internet +" smart energy (energy Internet) demonstration projects. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. The projects submitted should comply with the relevant policies and plans of the country and our city, meet the specific requirements of this application, and be able to effectively promote structural reforms in the energy field, promote the deep integration of energy and information, and drive the development of new technologies, new models and new formats of energy Internet.

2. The Development and Reform Commissions of each district and the Development and Reform Bureau of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone shall organize the application of projects within their jurisdictions in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Notice of the National Energy Administration on the Organization and Implementation of the "Internet +" Smart Energy (Energy Internet) Demonstration Project" (National Energy Science and Technology [2016] No. 200), screen and review the application projects, and submit the application materials that meet the conditions to our commission. The application projects should have carried out in-depth preliminary research work, have the basic conditions for implementation, and start construction before the end of 2017. In principle, each district shall apply for no more than one project, and priority will be given to projects that have been included in the relevant national and municipal plans. Please submit the application materials to our commission (Energy Department) before August 20, 2016.

The specific application materials are as follows:

1. The recommendation document submitted to our commission by the District Development and Reform Commission or the Development and Reform Bureau of Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone;

2. Demonstration Project Application Form (fill in according to Appendix 1 of Notice No. 200 of National Energy Science and Technology (2016));

3. Project application report and related attachments (prepared in accordance with Attachment 2 of the Notice of National Energy Technology [2016] No. 200, and attached with relevant approval documents).

The above project application materials should be submitted in sextuplicate. The demonstration project application form and project application report should be accompanied by two electronic CDs.

3. The Commission will entrust an intermediary agency to organize expert reviews and recommend outstanding projects to the National Energy Administration based on the review results.

4. Project application materials will not be returned to the project unit.
