The "Guiding Opinions on Promoting the Development of "Internet +" Smart Energy" issued this year clarified ten major tasks and proposed two phases. It will first take about three years to carry out pilot demonstrations before 2019. The current focus is on promoting the implementation of specific plans.

The National Energy Administration has compiled the "Internet +" Smart Energy Pilot Demonstration Project Implementation Plan, which will be issued soon to encourage the expansion of effective investment in the energy sector and clarify the roadmap and timetable for the construction of pilot demonstration projects.
